Serena Williams Wins Fourth Wimbledon Title, Defeating Zvonareva 6-3, 6-2

Serena Williams won the first set of the Wimbledon women’s final, serving six aces and breaking Vera Zvonareva’s serve in the eighth game to win 6-3.

Williams, 28, an American, is the defending champion and the top seed. She is seeking her fourth Wimbledon title. No. 21 Zvonareva, 25, a Russian, is in her first Wimbledon final.
