Russia Considers Excise Taxes on Chocolate, Luxury Goods, Vedomosti Says

Russia’s Economy Ministry wants to impose excise taxes on chocolate, jewelry and other so-called luxury goods to help fill its budget shortfall, Vedomosti reported, citing a letter Deputy Economy Minister Andrei Klepach sent to the Finance Ministry.
