Koza Altin Buys Newmont's Turkey Gold Unit, Licenses for $8.5 Million

Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS, a Turkish miner, bought the Turkish gold mining unit of Newmont Mining Corp. for $8.5 million.

Newmont Altin Madencilik Limited Sirketi has 63 licenses for gold mining in Turkey, Koza said in a filing with the Istanbul Stock Exchange today.
