India Extends Ban on Imports of Chinese Milk, Milk-Products by Six Months

India extended a ban on imports of milk and milk products from China for a further six months, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said today in a statement on its website.

The ban includes chocolates, confectionary and foods prepared with milk or milk solids, the ministry said. The ban was imposed in December 2008, it said.
