Ghana Tied 1-1 With Australia in Second Half After Kewell Gets Red Card
Ghana and 10-man Australia are tied 1-1 in the second half of their World Cup Group D match in Rustenburg, South Africa.
Australia’s Harry Kewell received a red card in the 24th minute for a handball on the goal line. Asamoah Gyan scored with the penalty kick to tie the game after Brett Holman put Australia ahead in the 11th minute.
The Netherlands beat Japan 1-0 earlier and Cameroon faces Denmark later today in Group E games.
