Morgan Stanley Hires Citigroup's Kimberly Greenberger as Retail Analyst
Morgan Stanley hired Citigroup Inc.’s Kimberly Greenberger, the second-ranked equity analyst covering retailers in Institutional Investor’s 2009 survey, as a managing director and senior analyst covering specialty stores.
Greenberger had worked at Citigroup since 2004, covering chains including Abercrombie & Fitch Co., American Eagle Outfitters Inc. and AnnTaylor Stores Corp. She will probably cover similar companies at Morgan Stanley, according to Sandra Hernandez, a spokeswoman for the New York-based firm.
Her move will be effective Aug. 31, Hernandez said yesterday. Prior to working at Citigroup, Greenberger was an analyst at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Credit Suisse Group AG. Greenberger got a master’s in business administration from Harvard University.
