Barclays Capital, the investment- banking arm of Barclays Plc, named former Canadian ambassador to the U.S. Michael Wilson and ex-RBC Capital Markets Deputy Chairman Bruce Rothney to run its Canadian operations.

Wilson will be chairman of Barclays Capital Canada, while Rothney will be country head, the investment bank said today in an e-mailed statement.
