Oman International Development & Investment Co., Renaissance Services SAOG and Oman Cement Co. gained in Muscat trading after EFG-Hermes Holding SAE initiated coverage of the shares with a “buy” recommendation.
Oman International, an investment company, surged 9.7 percent, the most since June, to 0.409 rial at 12:31 p.m. in the sultanate’s capital. Renaissance, a provider of services to the oil and gas industry, gained 3.5 percent and Oman Cement rose 3.9 percent.
Al-Anwar Ceramic Tiles Co, which was also rated “buy” in new coverage at EFG, increased 2.8 percent.
