Jonathan Trott reached 175 not out as England ended on 362-4 on the opening day of the first cricket Test against Bangladesh.
Trott struck 17 boundaries as England took command at Lord’s in London. He came in after Alastair Cook was leg-before- wicket to Shahadat Hossain with only seven runs on the board.
Captain Andrew Strauss made 83 before his dismissal left England on 188-2. Kevin Pietersen scored 18 and Ian Bell 17. Eoin Morgan, on his Test debut, has 40.
The hosts were put in to bat in the first of a two-match series after Bangladesh won the toss.
