REN-Redes Energeticas Nacionais SA, the operator of Portugal’s power and gas networks, plans to bid for projects that Brazilian electricity regulator Aneel will auction on June 11, Diario Economico reported, without saying how it obtained the information.

The projects will reinforce Brazil’s energy network from 2012 and involve 700 kilometers of transmission lines and 11 substations, the Portuguese newspaper said. REN will bid in a group with ProCME of Portugal, according to Diario.
