Carr Rules Himself Out of Becoming Next Marks & Spencer Chairman, FT Says

Roger Carr, former chairman of Cadbury Plc, ruled himself out as a candidate for the same role at Marks & Spencer Group Plc, the Financial Times reported, citing people close to the retailer it didn’t identify.

Present Chairman Stuart Rose may leave before the end of this year and before his official departure date of March 2011, the newspaper said. Carr is seeking other, more-international opportunities, it said.
