Citigroup Inc. has hired Chris Few to join the bank’s mid-cap equities team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa as a director and senior trader.
Few joins the team from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he held a similar role, according to Citigroup’s London-based spokesman Jeffrey French.
Starting in September, he will report directly to Citigroup’s recently appointed head of EMEA mid-cap equities, Marc Francis.
Francis replaced Andy Moon, who left the firm last week to join rival Barclays Capital. Mark Wright, John Celaschi and Matthew Austin, who reported to Moon, also left Citigroup, two people familiar with the moves said last week.
