Mets' Wilpon Meets With Minaya, Manuel as May's Losses Reach 11, WFAN Says

New York Mets Chief Operating Officer Jeff Wilpon is meeting with General Manager Omar Minaya and manager Jerry Manuel in Atlanta where the team is playing the Braves, WFAN Radio is reporting, without saying where it received the information.

Jeff Wilpon is the son of team owner Fred Wilpon. The Mets have four wins and 11 losses in May and are 18-20 overall. WFAN, the team’s flagship radio station, said no firings were imminent.
