Benelux Stocks: ArcelorMittal, Corio, Devgen, Nyrstar Shares Are Active

The Amsterdam Exchanges Index decreased 1.19, or 0.4 percent, to 326.05 at 10:51 a.m. local time. Belgium’s Bel20 Index slipped 18.40, or 0.8 percent, to 2,428.77, a third straight drop.

The following are among the most active stocks in the Benelux markets today. Symbols are in parentheses.

ArcelorMittal (MT NA) slipped 2.3 percent to 25.64 euros, poised for a close at the lowest level since Nov. 26. The world’s largest steelmaker followed European steel and mining stocks lower as commodity prices continue to fall on the London Metal Exchange.

Nyrstar NV (NYR BB), the world’s biggest zinc producer, slipped 2.6 percent to 8.33 euros. Zinc for delivery in three months dropped as much as 4.9 percent on the London Metal Exchange today.

Corio NV (CORA NA) rose 1.9 percent to 41.15 euros, paring a 3.7 percent drop on May 14. The largest Dutch property developer was raised to “buy” from “hold” at Berenberg Bank.

Devgen NV (DEVG BB) declined 5.4 percent to 8.50 euros, a third straight decline. The Belgian developer of hybrid rice, sorghum, pearl millet and sunflower seeds reported a first- quarter net loss of 1.17 million euros.
