Baolihua Plans China's Largest Offshore Wind Farm, Securities Journal Says

Guangdong Baolihua New Energy Stock Co. plans to spend 20 billion yuan ($2.9 billion) to build China’s biggest offshore wind farm, the China Securities Journal reported today, citing an unidentified person at the company.

The wind farm off the coast of the southern province of Guangdong will have a capacity of 1,250 megawatts, the newspaper reported. The local government has granted approval for preliminary work to be done on the project, it said.
