UBS Hires Matus From Bank of America as a Senior U.S. Economist, Memo Says

UBS AG hired Drew Matus, who worked at Bank of America Corp. and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, as a senior U.S. economist and managing director, according to an internal memo today.
UBS spokeswoman Allison Chin-Leong confirmed the appointment. Matus will be based in Stamford, Connecticut, and report to Maury Harris, the chief U.S. economist at the firm, according to the memo.
