Berkshire Hathaway, CombiMatrix, Ensco: U.S. Equity Preview for April 26

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A US): Billionaire Warren Buffett’s holding company said its McLane Co. unit completed its acquisition of Kahn Ventures, which owns Empire Distributors and Empire Distributors of North Carolina.
CombiMatrix Corp. (CBMX US): The developer of technology that’s used to identify genes and mutations announced plans to close plants and said Brooke Anderson will resign as chief operating officer.
Ensco Plc (ESV US): The oil and natural-gas driller said it sold a jackup rig for $47 million, higher than the book value of $30 million.
