Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Barack Obama, talks with Bloomberg's Erik Schatzker and Peter Cook about the President's proposal to levy a fee on as many as 50 financial firms with assets greater than $50 billion to help recoup taxpayer bailout money and trim the federal budget deficit.
President Obama is expected to outline the plan late this morning at the White House and a more detailed plan will be included in the budget message he's due to send Congress next month. (Source: Bloomberg)
