China Railway Construction Corp. (1186), builder of more than half the nation’s railroads, said a unit won two contracts worth 18.5 billion yuan ($2.7 billion).
The first rail project will link Nanning and Guangzhou, and the second will connect Chongqing with Lanzhou, China Railway said in a statement to the Shanghai stock exchange today. The order value is equal to 10.4 percent of China Railway’s revenue in 2007, it said.
