Coca-Cola Venezuela Plants Blocked Again, Universal Says

Ex-workers again blocked access to Venezuela Coca-Cola Femsa SAB plants yesterday, El Universal said.

The protesters, who are demanding back-pay, idled 10 distribution centers and one bottling plant, El Universal said, citing workers' representative Oscar Ovalles.

The ex-workers blocked access to the company's 28 distribution centers and four bottling plants for the fourth time this year on Oct. 1, El Universal reported.

Protests continue even as the case has been resolved in court in favor of the company, the newspaper reported.
