The new beer called Sol Limon y Sal, which is also available in a non-alcoholic version, went on sale today. It will be distributed at the company's Oxxo convenience-store chain and supermarkets in Mexico, Femsa, as the Monterrey-based company is known, said in a e-mailed statement.
Femsa also announced it reached an agreement with Corporacion Interamericana de Entretenimiento SAB to place digital computer screens near cash registers in selected Oxxo stores to display advertising. The terms of the agreement weren't provided, according to a separate statement e-mailed today.
