Best Artificial Beach

The Palm Islands were designed to be the world's largest man-made islands, shaped like palm trees and built with sand dredged from the Persian Gulf off the coast of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Though the islands' creator, Nakheel PJSC, says development continues, Dubai's financial troubles in 2009 scrapped ambitious plans that included four amusement parks. However, there are several five-star hotels, including the Atlantis the Palm, which has more than 1,500 rooms, 18 restaurants and its own waterpark.
