1.8 million security guards

True or not, rumors swirl around Apple that plainclothes security agents listen to see who is gossiping about Apple business. Even a discussion between one employee and another can lead to firings. At an estimated annual salary of $60,000 for a security officer, Apple's $110 billion would be enough to hire 1.8 million security agents -- almost half the number of security guards employed by the 15,000 security companies in India after the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks.
