Well Meaning: 'Panic Room'

In the 2002 thriller, Meg -- played by a fierce and athletic Jodie Foster -- just wants to rebuild her life after a painful divorce. Part of starting over involves moving with her daughter into a big Manhattan townhouse, complete with a panic room. Alas, the claustrophobic Meg and her daughter wind up in that panic room on their very first night when burglars come looking for a fortune hidden in -- yes, the panic room. Foster proves to be not only a devoted mother but an inventive one, turning the tables on her attackers when calls for help fail.
