Founded in 1961, this is the oldest and largest Shakespearean festival in North America. It features plays such as "The Merry Wives of Windsor," "Titus Andronicus" and "Hamlet." Productions take place at the Adams Shakespearean Theatre, one of few venues that come close to the design of Shakespeare's Globe Theater. The festival attracts some 130,000 visitors and generates $23 million in expenditures in the Cedar City area.

Tickets range from $22 for balcony seats to $73 for some premier seating rows. You can take a backstage tour for $8.
