Back in January, Citigroup led the pack in growth after bumping its dividend up from one cent. From that level, any increase looks dramatic. Vulcan now leads the ranking after raising its dividend from a penny to five cents in March. In a Feb. 14 press release, the chief executive of the maker of crushed stone, sand and gravel said the move began "the process of restoring a meaningful dividend." It's got a way to go: In 2009, dividends per share were $1.48.
