Dustin Hoffman

Dustin Hoffman won Oscars for roles in 1979's "Kramer vs. Kramer" and 1988's "Rain Man." Hoffman has gone home empty-handed from the Oscars five times, however. That includes his first nomination, in 1968, for acting in "The Graduate" (left), and his most recent, for acting in 1997's "Wag the Dog."
