C. Customize features

1) To select a type of data to view, click on the white box to its left. To remove that type of data from your Market Monitor, click on the checked white box to un-check it. 2) Click on SAVE SETTINGS to save these selections as the ones you want to view on later logins. 3) Click on RESTORE DEFAULTS to return to the original three data settings: Current Price, Net Change and Trade Time. After doing this, you must click SAVE SETTINGS to make the changes permanent, or your Market Monitor will revert back to your last saved settings when you close the Customize window. 4) Click on CANCEL to close the CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS window without any changes taking effect.

D. Change the order in which columns or rows appear

1) Click on the column or row you want to move, and hold. The selected item will take on a different color. 2) Drag the mouse to the column you want to place your selected column in front of, or to the row you wish to place your row above. 3) Release mouse button to drop column or row. 4) Click on SAVE ROW ORDER to save. Note: You can only move an item over the amount of screen that's visible on your Market Monitor. If you wish to move an item farther than that, move the item as far as you can, then scroll across or up or down the Market Monitor in the direction you wish to move the item. Repeat this process as needed.

E. Sorting your data

You can sort your listing of securities and indices by any one type of data at a time, for example, from highest to lowest price. Click on the header of the data column by which you wish to order your securities and indices. Your first click sorts by descending order (represented by a down arrow in the column header), your second by ascending order (represented by an up arrow in the column header). These changes can't be saved from login to login.


F. Pop-up menus

By clicking on a symbol for a security or index, you can pull up a pop-up menu with links to more information on Bloomberg.com.
