The Monitor requires version 4.0 or higher of Netscape's Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer. For optimal performance, use your browser's latest (not Pre-Release or Beta) version available from the following links:

The Monitor uses Microsoft's current Java Virtual Machine or Sun's Java versions 1.2 or 1.3. Sun's Java 1.4, which can come bundled with non-Microsoft browsers or non-Microsoft operating systems, may not work with the Monitor.
Macintosh users: the Monitor's Java requirements make it incompatible with systems older than 9.0. Mac OS X users may need to run the Monitor in the Classic (OS 9 with Java 1.3) Environment or upgrade their OS and Java to more current versions.
Also, for the Monitor to work properly, the installed Java must be enabled in your browser:
Netscape 4.0 and higher
1) In the "Edit" menu at the top of your browser, click on "Preferences."
2) Click on "Advanced" in the Category box.
3) Check the "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" check boxes.
4) Click on "OK."
5) Close and restart your browser, and then relaunch the Monitor.
Explorer 4.0
1) In the "View" menu at the top of your browser, click on "Options."
2) Click on the "Advanced" tab.
3) Check the "Java JIT compiler enabled" check box.
4) Click on "OK."
5) Close and restart your browser, and then relaunch the Monitor.
Explorer 5.0
1) In the "Tools" menu at the top of your browser, click on "Internet Options."
2) Click on the "Advanced" tab.
3) Check the "JIT Compiler for virtual machine enabled" check box.
4) Click on "OK."
5) Close and restart your browser, and then relaunch the Monitor.
