Counting Obamacare Sign-Ups as Enrollment Deadline Passes
The Obama administration announced that 7.5 million people signed up for health insurance through federal or state exchanges, exceeding the enrollment estimate of 7 million originally set by the Congressional Budget Office. In February, the CBO trimmed the estimate to 6 million due to problems with the rollout of the federal exchange website. The number of enrollees is likely to fluctuate as people finish enrolling and those that don't pay their bill are dropped.
