Running doesn't require you to carry a lot of extras -- good news since after swimming and biking you may start off the run with sea legs. Still, many runners (and bikers) love the idea of buying "quick laces," since they don't require tying. Lieto, though, doesn't use them. "The five seconds it takes me to tie my shoe means I am more comfortable throughout the race than if I use elastic bands."
