Poker Face

This isn't the poker you play at home with friends. At the World Poker Tour Boot Camps in Las Vegas, Chicago and Atlantic City, New Jersey, groups of about 50 people meet during 16 to 20 sessions every year to hone their poker skills. Most of the two-day camps are taught by pros such as TJ Cloudier and Todd Brunson. Once a year, there is a fantasy trip to the Caribbean ($4,895 without airfare), at which players compete in eight tournaments over five days, possibly winning seats to the world poker tour event, where they could win up to $2 million.

$1895: Boot camp, including lunch, drinks, snacks -- two days. Hotel is extra
