The Easter Meal

While most Christians opt for an Easter dinner of ham, lamb is also popular. Americans spend $5.7 billion on food during Easter, more than a third of their total spending during the spring holiday season, according to research firm IBISWorld. Restaurants benefit. The most popular food request is ham, with 39 percent saying they needed to have it on Easter.
