One house in Maryland had 12 trees ranging up to 35 feet high. The owner felt that wasn't enough, so decorator Roy Good brought in another three trees ranging from 12 feet tall to 25 feet tall, each with a minimum of 10,000 lights. To the existing trees, he added another 20,000 mostly white lights, with a few multicolored ones for accents. "We look at the project as a woman accessorizing a party dress," says Good. "The structure is there, and we provide the accessories and the accentuation points."
