Seven months after its PlayStation 3 debut, Unreal Tournament III has finally arrived on the Xbox 360. This frantic first-person shooter features plenty of competitive action, along with an assortment of outstanding vehicles and weapons. Online play is sweet, thanks to a diverse selection of modes (the carefully-balanced Warfare will have you hooked for months), two-player split-screen support and additional maps and characters. Not all is perfect, however. UT III's single-player campaign is shallow, the dialogue is cheesy (and constantly repeated) and you can't create your own maps. Aside from those dilemmas, this is still a Tournament worth your attention, especially if you love hitting enemies with rockets.
