With all the targeting that’s going on online, targeting conversations seems like the logical next step. And that’s the one the BuzzLogic is taking. I talked to the company folks last week and today they’re opening a public beta of an ad service that they developed that targets blogs and other social media sites based on the conversations that are happening there.
It’s a logical extension to me of what BuzzLogic has been doing so far: providing a service that tracks linking among blogs along with other factors to figure out how the influential bloggers or social media hubs are for different topics. One of my questions, though, is how do you reach a broad enough audience. The answer? Ad networks. Another force du jour.
