Voices from Calle Ocho: Washington Post V-casts

Stephen Baker

I don't use the video much on my iPod. It eats up the battery. But when I do watch, the video podcasts from The Washington Post are among my favorites. They're nicely produced, and they deliver a great sense of place. The latest one, Voices from Calle Ocho, has Cuban and Cuban-Americans in Miami talking about the apparent demise of Fidel Castro. Their Cuban Spanish is music to my ears, and I get a feel for Calle Ocho, even on a three-inch screen.

The Post is a deforesting warmonger.. owned by

the Meyer family which has promoted every war

since it bought the paper that

the US regime has begun

Perhaps less biased reporters could be featured.

Veganesh, there's not one reporter, much less a biased one, featured on this Post v-cast. It's just people in Miami talking.
