| PBS Partners with OMN and Google to Sell Videos Online ?

You sell my data? That's what friends are for.
Read Stowe Boyd's take on Jigsaw, the Web 2.0 company that pays the public for their friends' and colleagues' contact data. Stowe takes a gentler approach toward Jigsaw than Michael Arrington, who savaged it. One interesting idea is to protect the rights to our data, perhaps even by putting a copyright or creative commons license on our business cards. Somehow, I don't see myself getting around to this. Of course, I won't need to--at least until I get back to BW--because Jigsaw doesn't include Yahoo or Gmail addresses.
