Google for the blind. How about iPods?

Stephen Baker

Good news that Google is developing search engine technology for the blind. What I'd like next is technology to help the blind navigate an iPod. When the screen on my old iPod went poof, I found myself among their ranks. It was, in effect, an iPod shuffle with 20 gigs of music. Horribly frustrating. (Though I did end up hearing a lot of music I didn't even know I had...)

I'm sure blind people can relate and really feel terrible for you, with your broken iPod and all. Must be rough, not being able to choose which song to play. Probably pretty comparable to not being able to see anything...ever.

It seems that Google China is developing a new service there.
