Burger King Fans France

Heather Green

Al Cabino, whose tagline is "Internationally renowned sneakerographer" (he's the fellow whose trying to get Nike to bring the shoes featured in Back to the Future II) sent me an email a while ago about another consumer activist.

This, reports Cabino, is a case of 'burger activism' in France. And it's true. Thousands of peopel in France want Burger King to come back to their sacred soil. Here's the link, and as Cabino apologized to me, I will do so to you because, you guess it, it's in French...

(And my apologies to you Al, I just rediscovered your email in my inbox....)

Greetings Heather and other readers. Forgive me for posting this question here under this posting...but I could not find an email address. Can you or anyone else tell me where I might find a university that offers an MBA or a Master's in Communications which focuses on web2.0 type stuff (i.e. blogs, wikis, podcasts etc. etc.) Thanks much and keep up the great work at

We actually did an interview with Al on his initiative:

It's good fun what he's doing, but also some weird stubbornness at Nike that they don't talk to him - any product with such a following deserves a very thorough (re-)evaluation.
