Business communications: RSS vs. E-mail
This Performancing touts e-mailed newsletters as a great marketing tool--and a way to drive up the value of a blog. In the comments, there's very good discussion about the virtues of RSS vs e-mail in business.
If you asked me to communicate with a list of 200 people tomorrow, I wouldn't have a clue how to do it with RSS. Seth Godin points RSS wannabes to FeedCraft. Another choice is KnowNow.

Another choice is Nooked - we make it very simple for the "email marketers" folks to get on board with RSS

After 8 months of working on my blog, I just "subscribed" nearly 1,000 of the clients in my personal mortgage practice using Feedblitz.com.
Now my challenge is to write content that will bring value to their lives rather than just being one more piece of junk mail.
The jury is still out!
