This Performancing touts e-mailed newsletters as a great marketing tool--and a way to drive up the value of a blog. In the comments, there's very good discussion about the virtues of RSS vs e-mail in business.

If you asked me to communicate with a list of 200 people tomorrow, I wouldn't have a clue how to do it with RSS. Seth Godin points RSS wannabes to FeedCraft. Another choice is KnowNow.
