BusinessWeek closes down Europe and Asian editions
We just got the news today that we're closing down our editions in Europe and Asia at the end of the month. It's a difficult day for us. We'll be learning more later this afternoon. One thing's for sure: the ratio is changing here, as less of our work goes out on paper, and more of it online.

Wow, shocker. Is the text about "robust, customized Asian and European versions" and "enormous growth we have seen in Online" newspeak, or is that really where BW is seeing the revenue growth?

There's been very strong growth in traffic and revenue of BW online. The challenge facing BW, like other mainstream outfits, is to get the online component big enough so that it can support a big share of global operations.

That's too bad. I try to pick up BW when I travel in China. Asia's business is so vibrant that would be the last place I would cut.
