Warner Bros launches viral campaign (on Jeff Jarvis' blog)
Jeff Jarvis announces that Warner Brothers came to him about putting a big movie ad on his blog. The value of the ad, I'm betting, is less the page views on Buzzmachine than the buzz it generates around the blog world (which I'm contributing to right here). This is a key value of blogs that businesses are still struggling to measure and to price.
It would be good to hear from Jeff about Warner Brothers' approach. How are they going to measure the impact? By the clicks on the ad, or perhaps by the number of links to the post about the ad? And I'm sure everyone else is also dying to know how much a big Hollywood studio pays for a splashy ad on a leading blog...

Well, we'll see; this isn't going smoothly. I'll let you know....

There is a TERRIFIC show on WB that just got canceled. It's the best thing since Ally McBeal. It is called Pepper Dennis. It had the makings of a "Seinfeld" following. The reviews said it was cheesy at times, but have you seen old Seinfeld episodes??? I stumbled upon it on accident. It was not advertised like it should have been. AND it was on at 5:00pm on Sundays. If I didn't have DVR I would not be a huge fan. Rebecca Romjin was fabulous and her counter part was too! THIS IS SUCH A SHAME! PEPPER DENNIS was the one show I really looked forward to watching! Warner Brothers made a huge mistake! DO you know how I can email Warner Brothers? I been surfing the web to find an address. At least I have a few episodes saved on DVR, it's just not the same.
