What's Google Blog Search Up to?
Steve Rubel at Micro Persuasion has some concerns about Google Blog search only spidering feeds and not full blogs. So, like a good do it yourselfer, he's trying out an interesting test to see if his fears are justified or not.
Can't wait to see what he finds.

Just to see what would happen, I searched for bits and pieces of what I've posted recently. Postings older than mine appeared first, strange!

I did a blog search for New Orleans.
The first result was from 6 hours ago.
It's still early. I found a New Orleans
rum story from Monday.
I also found credit card news http://www.all-card.info/blog/
using Google blog search.
There are more articles
If the Blogspotting gig doesn't pan out, you could go and start your own credit card blogs.

Re: Frances M's comment - it seems web sites wherein the search term appears more frequently will appear first in the search results, even if its posts are older.
One thing I don't like is that you have to go into advanced search to search by blog title. If a blog's title is never repeated in a post, it may not show up in a non-advanced search.

Honestly Jim, I think I would make a lot more money doing a credit card blog than anything I will ever do in my life!
