Bloglines Crashes---And it's Fun!

Heather Green

I was going through Bloglines this more, doing some blog perusing--and all of the sudden the picture of this guy shows up in the screen where the RSS feed for each blog usually is.

What's up?

"Hi,I'm the Bloglines Plumber. We've had a database crash, and we hope to be right back. Bloglines will be all better when I'm done with it.

I guess it's hard to complain when it's free, but Bloglines seems to be turning into Boggedlines as of late. I use it as my primary reader/aggregator and perfomance has been getting slower and slower. Other readers poll feeds much faster and yesterday things seemed to grind to a halt. I hope they can fix the problems because I do like the interface.

I've had this guy show up too... I like Bloglines, but they have quit innovating. Frames are so 2001. They need an updated interface in a bad way. It is functional, but flows very poorly.
