The biases of links and the quirks of blogrolls
Zephoria offers lots of good details and analysis about links and blogrolls. (Thanks to Christopher Carfi) It's worth a read. A couple points about blogrolls: Most of the top 100 forego them (but benefit from everyone else's). And loads of the links on blogrolls are stale or dead.
