Wachovia downgrades SI International (SINT).
Analyst Edward Caso says he is downgrading SI International to market perform from outperform. He says, while first-quarter results beat estimates, second quarter guidance was below estimates on top and bottom line.
He says it is unclear how much of this represents "pull forward" into the first quarter, as full-year 2005 guidance is unchanged. Nonetheless, based on new second-quarter guidance, he cuts his 2005 and 2006 revenue estimates to $385 million and $450 million from $388 million and $460 million, respectively.
Caso lowers his 2005 and 2006 earnings per share estimates to $1.32 and $1.57 from $1.35 and $1.62, respectively. He drops his target range to $25 to $29 from $27 to $32 and remains positive on the company's positioning and long-term prospects.
