Earning an MBA at a top-tier business school is a budget breaker, often reaching upward of $80,000. Need advice about handling this hefty tuition bill? In a live chat on Thursday, Apr. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (EST), we'll get the straight scoop from Bonnie Lack, associate director of financial aid at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. She'll take your questions and offer advice on everything from budgeting to consolidating your student loans.
Lack, who has been at Tepper for five years, brings more than 14 years of retail consumer banking experience to her position. She not only assists students in applying for federal and alternative loans but also has helped many students correct their credit reports. As a result, some students have obtained much-needed alternative loans, or even jobs.
Your co-hosts for this live chat will be Jack Dierdorff (BWJack), consulting editor of BusinessWeek Online and former managing editor of the magazine, and Francesca Di Meglio (FrancescaBW), a BW Online reporter who covers business schools.
Hope to see you there!
