Talbots (TLB) posted 13% December same store sales rise, 17% total sales rise. Sees $0.46-$0.48 Q4 EPS.

Wal-Mart (WMT) posted slight December same store sales rise, 6.5% total sales rise.

Intimate Brands (IBI) sees $0.44-$0.48 Q4 EPS. The company posted 3% lower December same store sales, 4% higher total sales.

The Limited (LTD) sees $0.53-0.57 Q4 EPS. The company posted 5% higher December same store sales, 2% higher total sales.

Legg Mason downgraded Black & Decker (BDK) shares to market perform from buy.

Goody's Family (GDYS) says Q4 EPS will be well below expectations, although significantly higher than year ago. The company plans to reduce number of stores it opens this year.
