In the meantime, between trips to Presidential testing grounds in Iowa, Jackson urges companies to invest in what he terms the most promising emerging market: America's inner cities and rural areas. He plans a July 15 powwow in New York to devise incentives for investments in poor areas, with government subsidies to offset the risks.
